At Minerex, we are proud to be involved in several CSR initiatives:
Ghana Twins Foundation
The Ghana Twins Foundation (GTF) was founded by Zeena Abou-Jaoude and her late twin sister Maya Abou-Jaoude in June 1999.
It is a non-governmental organization promoting the social and economic well-being of deprived and needy twins in the Ghanaian society, giving support to the challenges facing parents in raising twins and multiple births. Its objective is to increase awareness of the special needs of twins and advocate for their rights.
Minerex Student Sponsorship Programme

Our active student education program sponsors three mining students at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST)

To fulfil our CSR commitments we:
Establish clear CSR objectives, strategies and action plans.
Apply policies, processes and guidelines through our management system to secure consistent and high standards on how we conduct our business in relation to Anti-corruption, Responsible Procurement and Global Labour Principles.
Comply with international legislation and regulations, and be active in driving improvement.
Promote a culture in which all employees share our CSR commitment.
Actively involve the organisation in CSR matters to develop the understanding and roles in conducting socially responsible business.
Systematically engage in dialogue with legitimate internal and external stakeholders to comply with the AA1000 SE Standard.
Require our general supply chain and contractors to comply with our Third Party Code of Conduct.
Monitor our CSR performance by applying measurements and impact assessments, and constantly pursue continuous performance improvement.
Report our CSR performance externally and openly communicate our activities and achievements to secure transparency.
